Thanks for your continued support and interest in Mesoamerican Reef Fund –MAR Fund-.
We are very happy to be a part of the GlobalGiving family through our project “Empowering Fishing Communities in the MAR Reef”. Thanks to your donations, we have had the opportunity to support two very interesting cases in our Community Fisheries Program:


o In México, we have supported the Puerto Morelos Fishers Cooperative in monitoring the no-take zones within the Puerto Morelos National Park.

o In Honduras, we have helped establish an association that integrates the 3 fishing communities in the Cuero y Salado Wildlife Refuge. They will have the opportunity to co-manage fisheries resources with the Refuge Administrator.
